Not sure which bow?

Two questions and we'll point you at the right one.

Most adult beginners regret buying too much poundage or the wrong-style bow. Pick the sentences that fit and we'll match the model and a safe starting draw weight.

What we're building

A quieter way to start target archery.

Three carefully chosen recurves — built for target practice, not hunting. Real replies when you write in, A$ pricing with GST sorted, and bows that arrive ready for your first session.

Honest reviews, when they're real

We'll publish customer reviews — only after they happen.

Archeryline launched its Australian storefront recently. Rather than seeding fake ratings, we'll publish verified buyer reviews here as soon as the first AU orders ship. If you'd rather see real feedback before you buy, write in — we'll connect you with the early testers we've already shipped to.

Be one of the first

A$15 credit on your first review.

Order one of the three recurves, post a verified review with a photo, and we'll credit A$15 toward arrows or accessories.

  • Only verified buyers can review.
  • No fake names, no fabricated stars — ever.
  • Critical reviews stay published. We'd rather know.
If something goes wrong

Your three “what-ifs”, answered upfront.

Buying your first recurve from a small online store is fair to feel cautious about. Here's exactly what we do when something doesn't go to plan — written in plain English, not in a 9-page returns policy.

  • Wrong draw weight?

Free swap within 30 days of delivery. We send the prepaid label and exchange the limbs — no return-freight charge to you.

  • Doesn’t arrive in 14 days?

If your tracked parcel hasn’t reached you 14 business days after dispatch, message us. Full refund, no questions, no chase-the-carrier paperwork.

  • Damaged on arrival?

Keep the packaging, send a photo within 48 hours, and we ship a replacement the same week. Backed by Australian Consumer Law.

Where the bows come from

Factory-direct, hand-checked, plainly priced.

Archeryline is the workshop, not a reseller. We make the same workhorse recurves entry-level archery programs use overseas — without an import wholesaler tacking on a 3× markup on the way to Australia.

  • No Australian warehouse — by design.

We don't run a Sydney warehouse, which is how a A$249 bow stays A$249. Bows ship direct from our workshop, tracked end-to-end.

  • Hand-checked before every dispatch.

Every bow is inspected, strung, and shot-tested by our 4-person workshop team before being packed for the trip to Australia.

  • One box, one tracking number, no surprise GST.

A$ pricing includes GST where applicable. No customs invoice waiting on your doorstep, no broker fees, no 3× retail markup.

Common questions

Quick answers before you order.

The questions we hear most often from Australian beginners. Yours not here?

Write to us — we reply same business day
  • How long does shipping take across Australia?

Orders process in 1–2 business days. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth metros typically arrive in 5–8 business days. Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin and regional areas usually arrive in 8–12. Tracking is shared after dispatch.

  • Do I need a licence to own a recurve bow in Australia?

A standard target recurve bow is unlicensed in most Australian states for adult target practice on private property or at a club. Rules differ by state for crossbows and any hunting equipment, neither of which we sell. Always check your state and local council guidance, especially for backyard shooting.

  • Are arrows included? Where do I get arrows?

Arrows are not included — they can't ship by air. Message us with your model and quantity and we'll quote a separate sea-freight arrow shipment with the right spine for your bow.

  • What draw weight should I start with?

Most adult beginners do best at 18–26 lb. Stronger or returning archers usually sit at 28–32 lb. Treat 34–40 lb as experienced-only. Use our Decision Helper above or open the Guide for the full chart.

  • Can I return the bow if it doesn’t fit?

Yes. We offer a free 30-day draw-weight swap if the weight feels wrong — we send a prepaid label and exchange the limbs. The bow must be unused, unmarked, and in original packaging.

  • Is GST included in the price?

Yes. All prices are in AUD with GST included where applicable. There are no remote-area surcharges, long-package surcharges, or extra checkout fees added by Archeryline.

  • Do you offer Afterpay?

Afterpay is available at checkout (subject to Afterpay approval) — split a A$179 set into 4 fortnightly payments of about A$45. PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay are also available.
